Fundraising Information
Once registered, participants are encouraged to raise the first $250 as soon as possible (as a deposit on airfare to Israel). In addition, participants must raise at least $800 through personalized fundraising websites (similar to those used in walk-a-thons), by asking friends and family to sponsor them and support JNF's Blueprint Negev campaign. Each participant’s total funds raised must be a minimum of $1050. Please note that all donations are nonrefundable.
Each participant will have his/her own website as a fundraising vehicle. He/She will set a fundraising goal (minimum $1050) and will send emails, make calls and reach out to friends, family, peers, etc to sponsor them on this amazing trip.

Funds will go to the Blueprint Negev campaign, a campaign supporting Israel's newest generation of pioneers in developing, inhabiting and preserving the Negev Desert - Israel's last frontier.
Blueprint Negev will lead to a 70% growth in the Negev's population, close the economic and educational gaps that exist, reduce the unemployment rate, create quality of life for all residents, and build a stronger Israel. The plan, which includes a government investment of over $4 billion, non-profit investment of $600 million, and private investment of $2.5 billion, includes doubling the size of the city of Be'er Sheva; infrastructure; housing loans and incentives; education; employment opportunities; tourism; partnerships; bolstering existing towns; the military; building new communities; the Bedouin; the environment; and water.
The Negev Desert is 60% of Israel's landmass but home to only 8% of its population. Its development is vital for Israel's future and will drive dramatic change to the region, making a real difference to Israel and her residents.
