Work Projects

March 2006:

  • Kibbutz Lotan's Eco Park - The group learned about using alternative and creative ecological techniques to answer environmental problems.
  • Ayalim Association - Beautification projects in the Ashalim community. One group cemented a new central square in the community, a second group built a wall, and a third group weeded and cleaned the community.
  • Sderot Purim Carnival - Our students face painted, balloon shaved, and celebrated with the children of the town. We enjoyed a Purim concert and all the festivities.
  • Bikur Cholim - Students spent the day visiting sick children in Schneider's Children Hospital.
  • Planted trees in Modiin.

March 2007:

  • Forestry - Our students cleared and pruned the Naftali and Biryah Forests, helping to prevent the future spread of fires.
  • Park Rehabilitation - The group cleaned, pruned, and painted several parks in the North.
  • Painted Bomb Shelters - Groups visited several settlements throughout the North and a community center in Tsfat, white washing and then painting the shelters.
  • Bikur Cholim - Visited sick children in different hospitals throughout the North.
  • Planted trees in Modiin.

Work Projects for 2008 are still being determined.
