JNF Living Memorial
What is a JNF Living Memorial?
A JNF Living Memorial is a page that you create to remember a loved one. It is easy and free to create the page, which can be shared with friends and family around the world. You can use the page to share stories and pictures about the honoree, and to allow people to donate to JNF in his or her memory.
For over 100 years, Jewish National Fund has been the caretaker of Israel on behalf of its owners Jewish people everywhere. Each day, JNF projects in Israel impact thousands of Israelis. We plant trees, build reservoirs, create parks and playgrounds, and develop new communities.
Jewish National Fund is the central address for partnering with the land and people of Israel. Creating a JNF Living Memorial is the perfect way to commemorate a loved one’s devotion to the land of Israel, and to provide ongoing support to our brothers and sisters there.
Living Memorial honorees that receive over $5,000 in donations will be recognized with a plaque in American Independence Park, located outside Jerusalem.
Why do people create Living Memorials?
When someone passes away, their family and friends often want to make donations to a charity that was important to their loved one in his or her memory. This unique page makes it easy. Once the page has been created, you can share it with loved ones looking to make a contribution in memory of the honoree, or simply looking to share their memories and thoughts.
