Location: Baltimore, MD

The administrative position is part of the District Council 1707 Union and is a full-time, non-exempt position.  This position will report to the Director, COE.

                        Purpose:
                        The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and organizational support to the Mid-Atlantic Zone by meeting the administrative needs and goals related to the JNF Campaign.

                        Accountabilities:
                        This position is chiefly responsible for the following:

•    Under the direction of the COE Director, provides administrative support to multiple Campaign and Event professionals within the Mid-Atlantic Zone
•    Correspondence and general office support
•    Answer phones
•    Process requests for information
•    Donor database management and report creation
•    Process check requests
•    Process Campaign pledges, donations, and payments accurately and in a timely manner
•    Assist with fundraising paperwork to submit:
    Appeal codes
    VIS forms
    Recognition forms       
•    Assist with scheduling meetings and calls, when needed
•    Assist with coordination of fundraising events
•    Assist with communication to JNF Volunteers (lay leaders, donors)
•    Supply management and reordering needs


                        Key Job Relationships:
Work as a team with all members of the Baltimore COE as well as National and Regional staff and assists as necessary.

                        Job Qualifications:

•    Superb interpersonal skills including communication and organizational skills
•    Superior customer service and telephone etiquette
•    Must be extremely dependable and be able to work quickly and accurately
•    Ability to prioritize and multi-task projects in order to meet deadlines and manage activities of a busy office
•    Strong computer skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and database) and basic math/accounting skills are a must 
•    Must be available for some evening and weekend events, depending on fundraising events/schedule
•    Previous experience in development organization preferred
