JNF has launched the $1 Billion Roadmap for the Next Decade, a ground-breaking and unprecedented plan for Israel's future that focuses on connecting the next generation to Israel, building communities in Israel's Negev and Galilee, and developing infrastructure for ecology, working with people with disabilities, heritage preservation, and aliyah from North America.
JNF seeks to recruit an experienced Development Executive who will be based out of Baltimore, MD. This position will be responsible for fundraising duties throughout Maryland, Delaware and the overall Mid-Atlantic region.
Job Responsibilities will include:
•Participate in all aspects of the gift cycle
•In partnership with the National Campaign Director, develop a strategy and plan for building prospect research and closing major gifts
•Face-to-face meetings for solicitation, cultivation and recognition of donors, both new and prospective
•Developing and identifying and closing major gift prospects
•Board and/or Committee development, cultivation and membership
•Providing professional leadership and management for Boards and/or Committees
A passion for Israel.
•The Development Executive should have at least 3 years of relative experience in sales/fundraising
•Strong understanding of donor research, identification, cultivation and solicitation
•Proven success in asking for and closing gifts and building and maintaining relationships with donors
•Ability to work nights and weekends as needed, depending on scheduled JNF events
•Excellent writing and speaking skills
•Knowledge of and familiarity with the Jewish Community in the Maryland and Delaware areas
•Are passionate about our work.
