Location: New York, NY
Job Responsibilities will include:
•Create strategic plans for all Campus related areas
•Supervise all staff and JNF Campus Fellows and assist them in running and/or recruiting for all campus programs and initiatives
•Oversee JNF-Shorashim Taglit-Birthright Israel
•Oversee Alternative Winter and Spring Break Trips including: planning the budget, content and logistics of each trip with Isram, Shorashim and JNF partners
•Oversee the Caravan for Democracy Student Leadership Mission to Israel including: planning the budget, content and logistics of each trip with Isram, Shorashim and JNF partners
Oversee Campus Fellowship including: working with Senior Marketing Manager on marketing and recruitment strategy, determining which campuses need to have Fellows and oversee recruitment process
•Oversee “Positively Israel” including strategically increasing number of PI events on a national level
•Liaison with other pro-Israel campus organizations, including representing JNF in any national collaboration/discussion/conference/consultation/round table that happens within the pro-Israel campus community
•Plan and oversee JNF’s annual College Summit
•A passion for Israel.
•3-5 years’ experience working with a non-profit fundraising organization or work with an educational institution highly preferred. Experience in pro-Israel activism on American campuses preferred as well. This individual will work directly with on-campus organizations and students
•Self-driven and motivated, sales oriented, quick learner, approachable with energy and enthusiasm for Israel Campus experiences
•Experience with Microsoft Office, internet research, Google Docs and CRM systems and ability to setup and use technology for presentation
•Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think outside the box
•Occasional travel within the US and Israel and some nights and weekend work are required
•Excellent follow-through on projects, and the ability to multi-task
•Ability to work effectively with individuals as well as groups, must be a team player
•Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive or confidential information.
•Candidates for this position must have a B.A. or B.S. degree
•Knowledge of Israel, current trends in the Jewish community and current trends related to Israel on U.S campuses is required.
•Candidates must have a valid US driver’s license, access to a car and personal credit card to use for travel (documented expenses are reimbursed per company policy)
