Jewish National Fund (JNF) is a nonprofit dedicated to the land and people of Israel. JNF gives all generations a unique voice in building and ensuring the prosperity of the land of Israel through their generosity and partnership with the people of Israel.
JNF seeks to recruit a Professional Programs Director for a full time position to be based in New York City.
The Professional Programs Director will work with specific professional committees within our Affinity Groups Department to develop strategies and grow Doctors for Israel, Lawyers for Israel and JNFuture (young leadership).
•Assist in the establishment of a National Board/Executive Committee for each Affinity Group listed above, managing them, and running monthly/ bi monthly conference calls.
•Work to help develop the campaign for each Affinity Group, identifying opportunities within each group and amongst general campaign givers and then establish key milestones and targets with Affinity Groups Supervisor.
•Facilitate and coordinate special events and national affinity tours/missions to Israel
•Work with IT and Director, Community Campaign to analyze the database and provide reports in order to identify opportunities within each Affinity Group and amongst general campaign givers.
•Work with Marketing and Communications Department to promote Affinity Groups where relevant in mailings, press releases, press ads and other marketing communications.
•Provide reports for the national Presidents/ national Chairs and work with them to secure speakers for the JNF National Conference.
•Liaising with fundraisers and Marketing and Communications department to promote Affinity Group events.
•Any additional activity as required by Affinity Groups Director
• A passion for Israel.
• 4-6 years’ relevant experience
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree
• Travel to other States/Regions/areas and Israel
• Must have supervisory experience
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Database)
