Jewish National Fund seeks a Regional Operations Manager to be located in the JNF Rockville Centre location office.

Under the direction of with the Executive Director, the Regional Operations Manager plans, directs, organizes and coordinates office operations, procedures and supportive services out of the Northeast Regional Operations Office for the territories throughout the Eastern United States to ensure organizational excellence, effectiveness and efficiency. The Director will manage and supervise the Administrative and other staff in the office, as well.

This position is chiefly responsible for the following:
•Works closely with fundraisers to ensure needs are met and smooth workflow is established
•Supervision of administrative staff to ensure:
oProcessing of Campaign pledges, donations, and payments in a timely manner
oDonor database management
•Assigns and monitors administrative functions
•Recruits, hires and trains staff including managing, evaluating, coaching and disciplining
•Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning and monitoring job results, enforcing systems, policies and procedures
•Organizes and maintains office operations and procedures
oReviews and approves supply requisitions by identifying needs
•Management of office records
oDesigns and ensures filing systems are maintained
oEnsures record retention procedures are followed (protection, security, transference, etc)

•Maintains organizational continuity by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and needs
•Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submits information for budget preparation, schedules expenditures, monitors costs
•Works closely with the Events Staff to manage all aspects of events throughout the Eastern territories
•Provides assistance and service to JNF Volunteers (lay leaders, donors)
•Maintains up-to-date information on all aspects of operations for campaign and support staff to provide additional assistance and fill-in when staff is out

•Excellent supervisory skills
•Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
•Excellent communications skills including written, verbal and listening
•Excellent time management skills
•Strong computer skills; basic math/accounting skills are a must

•Ability to prioritize and multi-task projects
•Must be available for evenings and weekend events, depending on fundraising events/schedule
•Moderate travel within the region is a necessity.
•Candidates must have a valid US driver’s license, access to a car and personal credit card to use for travel (documented expenses are reimbursed per company policy)
Experience in Fundraising/Sales Operations A+
