Jewish National Fund’s 2nd Annual Tu Bishvat Community Walk promises a fun-filled day of fellowship and philanthropy.

This year’s Tu Bishvat Community Walk is a mix of recreational and educational activities that families and friends of every age will enjoy. The day’s focus is about having fun, although the event theme, Walk for Water, plays a serious role in ensuring the future of Israel. Proceeds will benefit the JNF Parsons Water Fund.

Israeli Music…Dancing…Kosher Food…Merchandise… Jewish Agency Displays…And MORE!

Hands-on opportunities to learn about Tu Bishvat and the importance of water in Israel.

Schedule:

10:00 am-11:15 am
Sunday School in the Park, provided by JNF Israel Advocacy and Education Dept

10:00 am-12:00 pm
Walkers' Check-in/Registration, Entertainment, Crafts, Agency Displays, Retail Vendors, and Israeli Food

11:55 am-12:15 pm
U.S. Forest Service Tree Planting, with local dignitaries and Blue Box Boom Award

12:15 pm-2:00 pm
Walk around Tempe Town Lake (5K/3.1 miles) or Short Walk (1 mile)

2:00 pm-3:00 pm
Israeli Dancing and Music

Entry:
$18 per person in advance / $25 per person day of event
Total family fees not to exceed $50 (Includes children under 18 years old living at home.)
The $50 family cap registration is only available by calling JNF in advance at 602-277-4800.

Vendors, if you reserve a space to showcase your merchandise by December 15, 2010 you will receive a discount on your reservation fee.
