JNFuture Member Reception with Major General (Res.) Doron AlmogMarch 18, 2013 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
1285 Avenue of the Americas New York, NY
Join us for a reception to learn more about JNFuture’s 2013 Campaign Project, Aleh Negev- Nahalat Eran with Major General (Res.) Doron Almog, Founder and Chairman of Aleh Negev-Nahalat Eran Major General (Res.) Doron Almog is an Israeli military hero. The focus of his voluntary activities is Aleh Negev-Nahalat Eran, a residential village for children and young adults with severe disabilities named in memory of the General’s son Eran, Aleh Negev’s first resident, who passed away in February 2007. The 25-acre village and its multi-faceted departments are empowering young adults in Israel to interact with the outside world, develop a greater degree of independence and become productive members of Israeli society. This cutting edge concept has set a new benchmark in the field of special education, and the Aleh Negev facility is being studied as a model for duplication by experts worldwide. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited. To RSVP, email rsvpny@jnf.org For more information contact Danielle Obrart at dobrart@jnf.org or 212.879.9305 x506.
