Hosted by Mark Gilfix & Caroline Madden
Please join JNFuture for an opportunity to meet with Avnet Kleiner, Director of Development for Aleh Negev-Nahalat Eran.
As part of its focus on improving quality of life in Israel, Jewish National Fund is dedicated to ensuring that no member of Israeli society is left behind. Through a variety of initiatives, JNF provides cutting-edge rehabilitative services, special education, and medical care for people with special needs. A strategic partner in this area is Aleh Negev-Nahalat Eran, a state-of-the-art rehabilitative village in Israel’s Negev Desert that offers unparalleled care for people with severe disabilities in a warm, loving, and dignified environment. The village provides residential, educational, medical, and employment services for its 220 residents and 12,000 outpatients, providing a comprehensive framework for life.
Avnet Kleiner founded two non-profit organizations: ALFA, to advance the rights of Israeli Holocaust survivors, and WhatIsrael, an organization that trains students to promote constructive conversations about Israel on university campuses. In his work at Aleh Negev, Avnet works closely with the Chairman of Aleh Negev, IDF Major General (Res.) Doron Almog, and is an advocate for Aleh Negev and the overall goal of creating a more inclusive society for the disabled in Israel.
Advanced registration required, please RSVP by April 8 to Leila Nouri at LNouri@jnf.org or 415.677.9600 ext 932.
