Featuring Guest Speaker: Yedidya Harush, JNF-Halutza Liaison
Yedidya Harush was born and raised in the community of Atzmona in Gush Katif. Harush’s family relocated to Halutza after Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005. While in high school, he received a scholarship to play basketball in New Jersey while studying in a yeshiva. Upon his return home, Harush served in one of Israel's elite units, the 890th Paratroopers Brigade and currently serves on reserve. Harush, his wife Shiran and their two children live in Kfar Maimon next to the Gaza strip and are building their home in Shlomit, the newest community in Halutza.
