As part of its focus on improving quality of life in Israel, JNF is dedicated to ensuring that no member of Israeli society is left behind. Through a variety of initiatives, JNF provides cutting-edge rehabilitative services, special education, and medical care for people with special needs. Aleh Negev-Nahalat Eran is a 25-acre, state-of-the-art rehabilitative village in Israel’s Negev Desert that offers unparalleled care for people with severe disabilities in a warm, loving, and dignified environment. JNF has launched a unique Task Force on Disabilities to serve as an umbrella and coordinating body to support partners such as Aleh Negev in an effort to enhance their strength, fiscal viability, and effectiveness. Please watch this touching video on JNF's important work with Aleh Negev-Nahalat Eran

Marilyn Shuman is a native and longstanding resident of Buffalo, NY. Professionally, she was the Program Director of the JCC’s Senior Adult Department and a Property Manager at MCS Management for 20 years. Her past philanthropic commitments include serving as Vice President of the Buffalo Jewish Federation and the Buffalo JCC, Chair of the UJF Women’s Division and she was the first woman to serve as General Chair of the UJF Campaign. Together with her late husband, Irving, she received a number of awards, including the AJC Community Relations Award and the Nathan Benderson Community Leadership Award. In 2014 Marilyn received the National Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Award of Women’s Philanthropies of North America. Marilyn is the proud mother of 4 children and grandmother to 9 grandchildren.

Dr. Joshua Green is a busy urologist with a passion for Jewish philanthropy. A native of Philadelphia, he now resides in Sarasota with his wife Julie and their three children, Amanda, Jacob, and Melanie. Joshua’s first exposure to JNF was in 1983, when he celebrated his Bar Mitzvah with his family in Israel. He has been a supporter of JNF ever since. Joshua is deeply involved in the Jewish Federation, both on the local and national levels. He has served the Sarasota-Manatee Jewish Federation as a Board Member and two-term Development Co-Chair. Joshua joined JFNA’s National Young Leadership Cabinet in 2009. Currently, he is Co-Chair of National Young Leadership for Jewish Federations of North America.

Robert Cait is a Jewish stand-up comic who has earned the prestigious title of “George Carlin with a kippah.” Cait’s comedy routine has taken him across North America, from Montreal to Las Vegas. Cait uses Jewish comic relief to connect with Jewish audiences at their deepest and most hysterical levels. His acts are sprinkled with Hebrew and Yiddish, making him one of the most unique and sought after Jewish comedians performing today. In addition to comedy routines, Cait’s voice talents have also landed him in countless films, television series, and recognizable commercials. He has been lauded by critics for his comedy on MTV, A&E, and Comedy Central and has been in several films honored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
