Guest Speaker: Rabbi Joseph Telushkin
The Twenty-First Century: A Jewish Vision, One Day at a Time

Best-selling author Rabbi Joseph Telushkin has written more than 15 books, including several about Jewish ethics and literacy. His work, Jewish Literacy: The Most Important Things to Know About the Jewish Religion, Its People and Its History, is the most widely sold book on Judaism of the past two decades. Rebbe: The Life and Teachings of Menachem M. Schneerson, the Most Influential Rabbi in Modern History, appeared on all the major best seller lists, including New York Times and Wall Street Journal. He was named by Talk Magazine as one of the 50 best speakers in the United States. Rabbi Telushkin serves as senior associate of the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, as well as on the board of the Jewish Book Council, and is the rabbi of the Los Angeles-based Synagogue for the Performing Arts. Larry Gelbart, author of Mash and Tootsie, said “I don’t know if Jews are really the chosen people, but I think Joseph Telushkin’s book makes a strong argument that we’re the funniest.”
