Jeanie and David Abelson
Jeanie and David Abelson have been actively involved in leadership roles in the Jewish community since moving to Tampa in 1989. David is a past Chairman of Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services, Jewish Federation of Pinellas County and the Kent JCC. He is currently on the Executive Board of Temple Ahavat Shalom. Jeanie is a past Chair of the Jewish Federation’s Lions division and the Temple Sisterhood and has served on her Temple’s Executive Board. Together, they have three children, Alan, Amy Leigh, and Adam.

Diane and Leon Mezrah
Diane and Leon Mezrah have called Tampa home since their marriage almost 54 years ago. They have been active members of Rodeph Sholom Synagogue since then and embraced many Jewish activities and are affiliated with several organizations. Their two sons, Todd and Lee, attended the JCC Preschool and camps through their childhood. They are excited to be part of the Bryan Glazer Family JCC and the family looks forward its opening next year. The Mezrahs legacy continues with their children, daughter-in-law, Shari and grandchildren, Max, Sam and Cole being active in the pulse of Tampa Jewish Life.

Richard Rappaport 
Richard Marc Rappaport is a proud member of JNF's King Solomon Society and World Chairman's Council. He considers himself a committed Zionist, as is his daughter, Dayna, who is a member of JNF's Sapphire Society and the San Francisco Board . Richard is the President of Panther Medical,  a national medical device distributor. In March he participated in JNF's "$1 Billion Roadmap Mission" with the Task Force on Disabilities, and he eagerly anticipates the Israel Bike Ride. Richard is forever inspired by JNF's work with partners such as Aleh Negev, Red Mountain Therapeutic Riding Center, JNF-Alexander Muss High School in Israel and Halutza. Am Yisrael Chai.

Elaine and Hinks Shimberg
Hinks and Elaine Shimberg have been married fifty-four years and have five children and ten grandchildren. Hinks has served as chairman of numerous theatre, educational, athletic, and civic organizations, and was Vice-Chairman and Treasurer of Congregation Schaarai Zedek. He was Civitan’s “Citizen of the Year", and he and Elaine received both USF’s honorary “Doctor of Humane Letters” degree and the "Philanthropists of the Year” award. Elaine has chaired the St. Joseph’s Hospital Board and Foundation, was Vice-President of Scharrai Zedek’s Sisterhood, and authored twenty-four books, includingGrowing Up Jewish in Small Town America.
