Annual Tu Bishvat Community Celebration

Sunday, February 12, 2017
9:30 am Check In
9:45 – 11:30 am Program

Albany Marriott
189 Wolf Road, Albany, NY 12205

Join us for a morning of engaging, fun-filled activities such as a Tu BiShvat Poe-TREE Slam, thought provoking environmental debates, planting seeds to commemorate the birthday of the trees, a community Tu BiShvat Seder, and learn about JNF’s critical work in Israel.

The whole community is invited to a screening of JNF partner Jerusalem U’s remarkable film Mekonen, with an introduction from JNF’s own Yarden Fanta-Vagenshtein, the first Ethiopian woman to earn her PhD in Israel.

Every student in attendance receives a T-shirt! Don’t forget to drop off your Blue Box!

To find our celebration, take a left at the end of the main drive to find event parking and banquet facilities; festivities will take place in Salons D-G.
