“Israel Today” was the topic of the recently held Miami-Dade 2010 Campaign “Kick-off”. JNF supporters were treated to a special JNF wine-and-cheese tasting and a delicious buffet supper. The guest speaker, Lt. Colonel (Res.) Ronnie Porat, JNF Israel Special Emissary to the Florida & Southern Zones, gave an update on the JNF projects in Israel today to the over 60 guests in attendance. Attending the Kick-off were many JNF Miami-Dade leaders including Miami-Dade Board Chairman Jeffrey Perlow, new Board President Michael Benchetrit, and Event Chair Joshua Berkowitz.
The event provided JNF with the opportunity to reach more people in the Miami-Dade area, providing them with information on the extensive work JNF is accomplishing in our Jewish homeland and giving them the opportunity to support these vital projects. This event was the first of several programs and parlor meetings that will be held on behalf of the Miami-Dade Region 2010 Campaign.
