Michael M. Benchetrit, of the law firm Akerman-Senterfitt, was recently elected as President of the Miami-Dade Region Board of Directors. Michael’s practice is focused on immigration matters for national and multinational companies in the financial services, real estate development, manufacturing, engineering and information services industries. Among his major clients are 1-800 Hotels and The Miami Dolphins.
Michael has traveled to Israel on numerous occasions. His love for the programs and projects of JNF and his understanding of JNF’s vital work in Israel is truly a family affair as his wife, Sheri, is also involved in the growth of the Miami-Dade Region of JNF.
Sheri & Michael and their children recently traveled to Israel and upon their return Michael said “the highlight of my trip was seeing the Be’er Sheva Riverwalk become a reality."
The Miami-Dade Region is poised for another successful campaign year with Michael steering the ship!
