Jerusalem Fire Chief Addresses Cushman & Wakefield

Shmulik Friedman, Jerusalem Fire Chief, addressed a crowd of 25 at the real estate offices of Cushman & Wakefield. Chief Friedman discussed the difficulties and intricacies of protecting a city built over 700 years ago, and the challenges of integrating modern technology. “The gap between our resources and our needs is astounding,” said Chief Friedman. “Half of my fire engines are over 20 years old, and are almost unable to climb the hills of Jerusalem.” Alan Levine (pictured), was presented with an Israeli Fire Scout fleece and belt as a token of appreciation for his support of JNF and the Friends of Israel Firefighters.
