North New Jersey Israeli Independence Day Reception

A special Yom Ha’atzmaut Recepton, attended by 70 people, was held on May 7th at the home of Jill and Seffi Janowski in Cresskill, New Jersey.  Guests celebrated with Israeli food, desserts by Israeli Chef Galit Aboodi and a silent auction featuring paintings, lithographs and sculptures from the Carmel Region artist village of Ein Hod.

Consul General of Israel in New York and branding expert, Ido Aharoni, spoke about rebranding Israel and Israeli achievements in arts and culture, product development, international rescue programs and much more.  Russell Robinson, JNF CEO spoke enthusiastically about his vision of developing the Negev and the Galilee and emphasized the achievements of the State of Israel in her 63 years of existence.

All funds raised at the reception will go towards Operation Carmel Renewal, supporting the rehabilitation of the Carmel Forest.
