Ammunition Hill

In honor of Veterans Day and in support of Ammunition Hill, more than 70 people came together on November 19th to see a private screening of the award winning-documentary About Face: The Story of the Jewish Refugee Soldiers of World War ll. Following the movie, guests were captivated by a Q&A with filmmaker Steven Karras and World War II veteran John Stern. Matt Fragner, JNF Makor member, concluded this special evening by speaking about the history and importance of Ammunition Hill in the 1967 Six Day War. He also spoke about Jewish National Fund’s important work in restoring the historical site, creating a wall to honor Jewish Vets and building a museum, amphitheater and visitors center.
