Jewish National Fund Transforms Margate into the Splendor of Tel Aviv

Jewish National Fund (JNF-USA) is proud to host the 3rd Annual Margate Meets Tel Aviv event. Hosted by JNFuture’s Philadelphia chapter, the celebration will take place on Saturday, August 19 at 9:00 pm at Lucy the Elephant (9200 Atlantic Ave, Margate City, NJ 08402). This community fete will feature many celebratory components, including an open bar, live music from CTO Carousel, and a tour of the famous Lucy the Elephant. Attendees will spend the night dancing under the stars as JNFuture transforms Margate into the splendor of Tel Aviv!

“The last two years have been very successful, but this year will be bigger and better than ever,” said Molli Weisband, who will be co-chairing her first JNFuture event. “I am so excited to party on a beautiful, summer night at the beach with over 300 people. We are going to have an amazing time all while supporting a great cause and raising money for our common love, Israel! Our Philadelphia chapter of JNFuture is such a close-knit group and we are looking forward to expanding our JNF Family to many more young professionals in the Delaware Valley and South Jersey area.”

Danielle Hankin, who has chaired this event since its inception, is looking forward to another successful and fun evening. “This event is so wonderful because it gets so many young professionals from all across Greater Philadelphia, South Jersey, and beyond together from all different backgrounds to share their love for Israel and raise money to support development in Israel. There is nothing else like it!”

JNFuture is a global community of young professionals and supporters of Jewish National Fund, ages 22–40, who share a commitment and passion for Israel. Since its founding in 2007, JNFuture has grown exponentially from one city to more than 15 across the U.S. and Israel. All members have access to a vast network of like-minded peers, a variety of events, exclusive speaker series, VIP receptions with senior Israeli officials, and specialized trips to Israel. “We not only work on projects in Israel,” continued Weisband “but JNF enables all of us to develop a stronger sense of our Jewish Community locally and nationwide!”

Proceeds from Margate Meets Tel Aviv will benefit JNF’s vital work in Israel, which is varied in scope, but singular in benefit: striving to bring an enhanced quality of life to all of Israel’s residents and translate these advancements to the world beyond. JNF greens the desert with millions of trees, builds inclusive parks, creates new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolsters Israel’s water supply, helps to develop innovative arid-agriculture techniques, and educates both young and old about the founding and importance of Israel.

Advanced tickets are required by August 14 and can be purchased via Tickets are $40 for JNFuture members and $60 for general admission. For more information, contact Samantha van Adelsberg, Campaign Executive, Philadelphia at or 215.832.0690 x863.
