CEO Avi Wortzman assumed directorship ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran, a world class rehabilitative village in Southern Israel, following two decades of public service and experience with special education and at-risk youth programs. In the 1990s, Wortzman was an absorption activist during the mass emigration of Jews from Ethiopia and the former Soviet Union to Israel. From 2002-2008, he served as Director General of the MiBereishit Movement for Jewish Education and initiated the Masa Israel Journey program. Wortzman was also an advisor to the Minister of Construction and Housing for Negev Development, and founded an education and welfare network in Be’er Sheva.
