He is now contributing his skills and experience to the development of Aleh Negev-Nahalat Eran, a pioneering rehabilitation village in Israel’s Negev that provides severely disabled children and adults a comprehensive framework for life.
Avnet works closely with Chairman of Aleh Negev-Nahalat Eran, IDF Major General (res) Doron Almog, and spreads Almog’s message of the opportunity the village presents for tikkun olam, creating a better society for the disabled and for ourselves.
Avnet and his wife Adva alternate between living in the USA and Israel during the year.
