Diane Scar has been an integral part of the growth of JNF over the past 25 years, serving as the National Campaign Director overseeing numerous regions throughout the country. Diane previously served as the Maryland Regional Director, National Sapphire Society Director and Mid-Atlantic Zone Director. Her expertise in development, Israel, and donor relations has been a driving force in growing JNF’s fundraising campaign, which now boasts a $100 million annual campaign.
Diane has been at the forefront of many exciting initiatives, such as JNF’s Women’s Campaign for Israel, the Winter Connection Brunch, Culinary and Wine Tours, new major donor development, and most recently, the expansion of JNF’s general campaign, engaging thousands of new supporters across the country. Under Diane’s mentorship, JNF’s professional staff and lay leaders have elevated their approach to non-profit fundraising, ultimately strengthening the backbone of the organization. She has been named as a national top fundraiser by Fundraising Success Magazine, and has a track record of raising millions of dollars for the betterment of Israel. Before joining JNF, Diane served as Major Gifts Director for UJA Federation of Greater Washington, D.C. and Development Director for Providence Hospital. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive with the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
