Gary Suskauer is the Director of the Brownfields Initiative for the City of Baltimore Development Corporation. As director, Gary is responsible for marketing and PR for the Brownfields Initiative, and he works with other agencies to identify opportunities to promote and expand the reuse of contaminated sites.
With over fifteen years of experience in environmental research and policy analysis, Gary holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Colgate University. Prior to joining the BDC, he worked for the National Association of Home Builders in Washington, D.C. as an environmental policy analyst and was an environmental specialist for the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission, a regional water pollution control agency in Cincinnati, Ohio.
