Our speaker Larry Greenfield is a dynamic leader of the pro Israel community and a frequent media commentator on the Middle East and U.S. foreign policy. Raised in Los Angeles, he earned his B.A. in political science at UC Berkeley, graduating in 3 years as class speaker, and he picked up his law degree at the Georgetown Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he worked on the arrest warrant for Yasir Arafat. Mr. Greenfield enlisted and served in the Armed Forces of the United States in Naval Intelligence, while his brother served in the Israel Defence Forces. Larry has served as publisher of the Journal of International Security Affairs, and founding director of the Reagan Legacy Foundation, and he is a close confident of elected officials across the political aisle on such issues as Missile Defense, counter-terrorism and American national security. Larry has traveled to some 80 countries and inside 8 war-zones, earning the nickname the Jewish James Bond. Long active in Jewish life, Larry is a Wexner Fellow and he has served in senior or board positions at the Jewish Institute for National Security, the Israel Cancer Research Fund, the Endowment for Middle East Truth and the Israel Christian Nexus. Passionate about the story of the Jewish people, the U.S. - Israel alliance, and the morality of human freedom, Larry will share stories of inspiration and remind us of the blessings we have inherited and carry in the Jewish future.
