President, JNF Arizona Board of Directors
Ann Zinman is an active member in the Phoenix Jewish Community. She became President of the Board of Directors of Arizona Region October 2011 and has served on the JNF board for the last four years. Ann has served on The Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix Board of Directors holding many positions including; General Campaign Chair, Women’s Campaign Chair and President of Women’s Philanthropy. She was the recipient of the Golda Meir Award in 2008. Ann was also on the National Women’s Philanthropy Board of United Jewish Communities (UJC), co-chairing their NWP Machar Mission in 2007. In addition, Ann has served on the National Women’s Philanthropy Advisory Board of UJC, the Boards of the American Jewish Committee, Council for Jews with Special Needs and Phoenix chapter of Brandeis. She is currently a member of the Board of the Phoenix Jewish Genetic Testing.
Ann retired in 1995 as a therapist for a nonprofit agency. She obtained her Masters in Education in Family and Marriage Counseling from the University of Manitoba.
Ann and her husband Ted moved to Phoenix from Canada in 1985. Their pride and joy are their seven grandchildren.
