Michael Blank

President, Boston Regionblank

Michael Blank is the President of JNF’s Boston Region and is passionate about the land and people of Israel.  Michael and his wife Patricia travel frequently to Israel to visit their son Aaron who lives in Tel Aviv.  As a lone soldier in Israel, Aaron completed his IDF tour of duty in 2008 in a Nahal combat unit. 

After graduating from George Washington University in 1972, Michael went into his family’s printing business which was then sold in 2007.  He is a past president of the Printing Industries of New England, and past president of the Graphic Arts Credit Union.  Today, he works in real estate management, overseeing his family’s commercial properties in the Boston area which total nearly 300,000 square feet.  He is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, a trustee of Rivermoor Realty Trust and a principal of Braintree Street Realty LLC.

Michael is an active volunteer, helping out with his temple’s – Temple Beth Am -- Israel Action Committee and affiliated with the Boston-Haifa connection. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Miller Convertible Fund and a trustee for his hometown soccer league. 

Michael continues to take ulpan after five years to improve his Hebrew language skills, and last year he and his wife Patricia began a two year Meah program to enrich their knowledge of Judaism and Israel.  He is a benefactor for the Chabad of Merrimack Valley located outside Boston, and supports the David Project by donating commercial space for their use.  

Michael and Patricia live in Framingham, Massachusetts. They have two sons and one daughter. Aaron, who received a Global Entrepreneurial MBA at the IDC in Herzilya and works for TerraCycle Israel; Samuel, who is a senior at Saint Lawrence University; and Julie, who is an advertising copywriter at Ogilvie, living and working in Manhattan.
