With almost three decades of experience in the media, in Israel, Europe and the United States, Ron Jacobsohn currently serves as Managing Director of Jewish Broadcasting Service (JBS), the most influential Jewish cable network in America, where he oversee the networks marketing strategy including web presence, social media and infrastructure. He is also responsible for establishing strategic partnerships and developing new programming for the network.
Jacobsohn began his media career as a correspondent for the Ma'ariv Daily Newspaper where he was the paper first-ever Los Angels Bureau Chief. While in Los Angeles he was also one the principles of what would become one of the leading independent news agency for Entertainment related content, The Hollywood Connection, which covered for TV outlets in 26 countries the Hollywood scene including celebrity interviews, red carpet premieres and award shows.
Ron was recruited to serve Chief Correspondent of the first Jewish global news channel, JN1, when it was created in 2014 and for over two-years he covered burning issues in the Jewish people from Israel and across Europe until the station was shut down last year.
Ron is married to Dorit, the two are proud parents of twins, Jonathan & Jayden and they currently live in Manhattan.
