Yishai is Director of Programming and radio personality at the Voice of Israel network, in addition to being a Contributing Editor at He is the founder and director of 'Kumah', a nonprofit organization in Israel and the United States that works to enhance the world's connection to Israel and strengthen Israel’s national character. Yishai holds a JD from Cardozo Law and is an ordained Rabbi. Yishai served as a Paratrooper in the IDF and continues to participate in an elite battlefield reserve unit. Yishai’s analysis and commentary have been featured on CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, Russia Today, Xinhua, MTV, Fox, and Israeli television. Previously, he was Program Director of Israel National Radio.He is fluent in English, Russian, and Hebrew, and lives  on the Mount of Olives with his wife and children.
