JNF Major Donors Appreciation Reception

On April 6, 2011, the Palm Springs and Desert Region held a wine and cheese reception at the home of Joan Holland and Eli Glassman.  The region welcomed JNF’s Mid-Atlantic Major Gifts Chair Ellen P. Rosenberg.  This event highlighted the generous support that the Palm Springs and Desert area has given toward the completion of a childrens playground at Givot Bar in the Negev desert, as well as their commitment to aiding Operation Carmel Renewal, working to restore the Carmel Forest. 

During the event, Palm Springs and Desert Region Vice President and Sapphire Society member Evelyn Binsky presented outgoing Region President and Herzl Society member Rick Stein with a gift of a shofar in appreciation for his two years of outstanding leadership.
