With the common core goal of nation building, the partnership between Jewish National Fund and Nefesh B’Nefesh (NBN) satisfies NBN’s mission of promoting Aliyah while fulfilling JNF’s vision to develop both the southern and northern regions of Israel through Blueprint Negev and Go North. These initiatives, that seek to increase population in the Negev and the Galilee, are now being marketed to the future pioneering olim who will make these areas their home. Together, JNF and NBN are making the country’s southern and northern regions attractive places to settle and thrive.
Since its founding in 2002, NBN has brought more than 45,000 olim to Israel. With a retention rate of over 90%, these olim have brought new talent and a passion to succeed to the country, including 3,800 pioneers who have continued to embody the spirit of the halutzim, Israel’s original pioneering generation.
The JNF-NBN partnership focuses on core national needs including:
Through Blueprint Negev and Go North, which concentrates on the peripheral regions of Israel, helping over 3,800 olim build their lives there
Physician Aliyah Fellowship
Addresses Israel’s serious physician shortage and has brought more than 400 specialized physicians to Israel’s hospitals, clinics, and the IDF Medical Corps
Lone Soldiers Program
Offers guidance for prospective soldiers prior to enlistment, facilitates charter olim flights, and opportunities after the army
