Jewish National Fund Names Elisa Ruth Schindler as Greater New York Senior Campaign Executive

February 16, 2006—New York, NY— Jewish National Fund is pleased to welcome Elisa Ruth Schindler to her new position as Senior Campaign Executive for the Greater New York Zone.
In her former position as Product Manager for JNF, Ms. Schindler was responsible for developing, expanding, and increasing the revenue base for JNF’s products and Internet Affiliate Program. Prior to joining JNF, she spent fifteen years as an executive in brand marketing and merchandising for Federated Department Stores.
“It is a real pleasure to have Elisa as a Senior Campaign Executive on the Greater New York development team,” said Anita Jacobs, JNF Greater New York Zone Director. “Elisa brings experience that will help with the growth of our Wall Street-Financial Industry, Legal and Business Societies. Elisa also demonstrates a great enthusiasm for the work of JNF and is passionate to help others be part of the JNF mission to be the caretaker of the land of Israel on behalf of its owners-Jewish people everywhere.”
Ms. Schindler has an extensive background in fundraising and volunteering, including involvement in The Homebound Cooking Program, Jewish United Fund-Israel Emergency Fund of Chicago, Lenox-Hill Hospital Bikur Cholim, and Mount Sinai Hospital Young Volunteers. She is a member of Temple Shaaray Tefila in Manhattan, where she serves on the Israel, Social Action, Outreach, and Caring Committees, and is a Tzedek Society Member of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism.

A Manhattan resident, Ms. Schindler received her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and has completed coursework towards a Fundraising Certificate at New York University’s George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising.
