Experience the Heart and Soul of Israel

Contact: Ronnie Porat • JNF Israeli Emissary for the Southern Zone • 404-236-8990 • rporat@jnf.org

March 2010 -- New York, NY -- To visit Israel is a meaningful event, whether it is your first time or your 20th.

Experience the best that Israel and JNF have to offer during Jewish National Fund's (JNF) "Heart and Soul" Mission, May 2-9, 2010 -- the sights, the culture, and exciting new developments in the continued creation of the State of Israel.

"To experience Israel is to experience it all: the land, the people, the heart and the soul," said Ronnie Porat, JNF Israeli Emissary for the Southern Zone. "As an Israeli, I can tell you that there is no better way to see Israel than with Jewish National Fund."

With over 100 years of experience as the caretaker of the land of Israel, JNF knows Israel best JNF missions go above and beyond the classic tourist experience, offering a firsthand look at JNF's critical work in Israel and providing access to sites not found on most typical itineraries.

On this mission, you'll visit some of JNF's valuable development projects and meet the people who are benefitting from them. See the children of Sderot enjoy the fun and safety of the Indoor Recreation Center. Visit the state-of-the-art Aleh Negev residential facility for people with severe disabilities in the Negev and the Red Mountain Therapeutic Riding Center near Eilat, both which provide much-needed services to a growing population of people with special needs.

The tour will take you to the best of Israel's sights and landmarks. Marvel at the spectacular mountain panoramas in Timna Park and enjoy the beautiful views of the Ramon Crater. Visit the "Historic Triangle" in Jerusalem: the Kotel, Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum and Ammunition Hill National Memorial site. Optional day tours to Masada and the Old City of Jerusalem bring a sense of history and beauty of the country, while visiting Eilat will expose you to a wonderful attractive resort area along the Red Sea beaches.

The Heart and Soul Mission offers a privileged view into the beauty and innovation of the State of Israel. Don't miss your chance to be part of this mission.

Land Only: $3135 (based on double occupancy). Single supplement: $950. Optional Masada Tour: $90.

JEWISH NATIONAL FUND (JNF) began in 1901 as a dream and vision to reestablish a homeland in Israel for Jewish people everywhere. Jews the world over collected coins in iconic JNF Blue Boxes, purchasing land and planting trees until ultimately, their dream of a Jewish homeland was a reality. JNF gives all generations of Jews a unique voice in building a prosperous future for the land of Israel and its people.

JNF embodies both heart and action; our work is varied in scope but singular in benefit. We strive to bring an enhanced quality of life to all of Israel’s residents, and translate these advancements to the world beyond. JNF is greening the desert with millions of trees, building thousands of parks, creating new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstering Israel’s water supply, helping develop innovative arid-agriculture techniques, and educating both young and old about the founding and importance of Israel and Zionism.

JNF is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and United Nations NGO, which continuously earns top ratings from charity overseers.
