January 16, 2014New York, NYJewish National Fund (JNF) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi), a national Jewish fraternity. This unique partnership was formed to capitalize both organizations’ respective strengths and create new synergies as JNF moves towards its one billion dollar campaign over the next decade.

“The partnership with AEPi dovetails perfectly with the mission of JNF’s Israel Advocacy and Education Department,” said JNF’s Chief Executive Officer Executive Russell F. Robinson. “Our mission is to educate and inspire the next generation of leaders by strengthening the connection to the land and people of Israel. The national organization has a history of developing tomorrow’s Jewish leaders, so partnering with AEPi is a step in the right direction for JNF to continue growing Zionist education and leadership.”

AEPi develops leadership for the future of the American Jewish community, providing young men with tools to advocate on behalf of Jewish causes and preparing them to be one of tomorrow’s Jewish Leaders. Through this new partnership, JNF will work on developing campaigns to reach out to the next generation of Jewish leaders, both organizations will promote their events to build support for one another, provide opportunities to travel to Israel while educating the next group of leaders. Most recently, AEPi received high recognition by becoming a member of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.

“Alpha Epsilon Pi is thrilled to be building upon its current philanthropy partnership with Jewish National Fund,” said Adam Maslia, Director of Jewish and Philanthropy Programming for Alpha Epsilon Pi. “AEPi prides itself on being an outspoken advocate for the State of Israel on over 170 campuses in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, France, and of course, Israel. Together, we will be able to provide our undergraduates and alumni with even more resources they can use to support Israel on their campuses and in their communities. JNF and AEPi have historic and prominent roles within the Jewish community and we look forward to collaboratively developing new and exciting programs that help to further develop the leadership of our community.”

JEWISH NATIONAL FUND (JNF) began in 1901 as a dream and vision to reestablish a homeland in Israel for Jewish people everywhere. Jews the world over collected coins in iconic JNF Blue Boxes, purchasing land and planting trees until ultimately, their dream of a Jewish homeland was a reality. JNF gives all generations of Jews a unique voice in building a prosperous future for the land of Israel and its people.

JNF embodies both heart and action; our work is varied in scope but singular in benefit. We strive to bring an enhanced quality of life to all of Israel’s residents, and translate these advancements to the world beyond. JNF is greening the desert with millions of trees, building thousands of parks, creating new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstering Israel’s water supply, helping develop innovative arid-agriculture techniques, and educating both young and old about the founding and importance of Israel and Zionism.

JNF is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and United Nations NGO, which continuously earns top ratings from charity overseers.
