Advisor to the President
“Dede” Diane Shaff Feinberg has a distinguished, award-winning resume of involvement with national and local Jewish communal service. She is Co-Chair, Assembly Planning Committee, The Jewish Agency for Israel where she also serves on the Board of Governors. Dede served as Co-Chair, United Jewish Communities General Assembly, and also serves as Vice Chair and Member of the Executive Committee. She is Vice-Chair, Executive Committee Member, and Member of the Board of Directors of United Israel Appeal. Her involvement with United Jewish Communities includes Member of the Board of Directors and former Chair of both the Missions Committee and Major Gifts.
Her Jewish Federation service includes Chair, Grants Committee, United Jewish Endowment Fund of Greater Washington and Chair of the Israel@60 celebration on the Mall in 2008. She has serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees. Her past service includes President, Campaign Chair, Vice President, Human Resource Development, and both President and Campaign Chair of the Women’s Division. She has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1986.
Dede lives in Bethesda, MD with her husband Kenneth. They have three children and two grandchildren.
