Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases, Dr. Morton Mower (Baltimore) is Chairman of the Board of MR3 Medical LLC. He is a member of myriad medical organizations including the American Heart Association, the American Congress of Cardiology, the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, American Federation for Clinical Research, Heart Rhythm Society, and the American Society for Artificial Internal Organs. He served as a Captain, Medical Corps, and Chief of Medicine, U.S. Army Headquarters in Germany from 1963-1965, is the inventor of Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy for congestive heart failure and the Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator, and now continues research work in defibrillators and new uses for artificial pacemakers around the world. He is on the Board of Jewish Recovery Houses. A member of JNF’s World Chairman’s Council, he also sits on JNF’s Building Committee.
