Fred Zeidman (Houston, TX) is Chairman of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, a post to which he was appointed by President Bush.
A prominent Houston-based business and civic leader, Zeidman is a Principal at XRoads Solutions Group, the Chairman of the Board of SulphCo. Inc., and serves on the Board of Directors of MegaWest Energy Corp, Hyperdynamics Corp and Prosperity Bank.
He also serves as Chairman of the University of Texas Health Science System Houston and is on the Board of Trustees of the Texas Heart Institute and the Institute for Rehabilitation and Research.
Zeidman is National Chairman of Israel Bonds, Vice Chairman of the Republican Jewish Coalition, and has played a leadership role in many other organizations.
He also served on the U.S. delegation to the Anti-Semitism Conference in Berlin.
