A former Chair of The Sapphire Society as well as a former President of JNF’s Bucks County region, Geri Shatz (New York, NY) is head of JNF’s Yerucham 2020 Task Force and a Century Council and Makor member. She was President of Congregation Kol Emet, a Reconstructionist synagogue, and chaired its endowment fund. She has also served on the board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, Bucks County region for many years, as well as on the board of Israel Bonds. An accountant, Geri specializes in the needs of the aged and has served in an advisory capacity to two lifecare communities in Bucks County. Geri became a lifetime Sapphire member with a gift to JNF of a life insurance policy.
