Originally from Haifa, Israel, Hannan Lis (Farmington Hills) is principal, COO and board member of The WW Group, Inc. (Weight Watchers’ largest franchise group), and founder and CEO of Lis Ventures LLC, a venture fund investing in emerging technologies and companies. He is past President of the Jewish Community Centers of Metropolitan Detroit, a National Board member of the American Jewish Committee, Midwest President and National Vice President of JNF (Land of Promise Foundation), and a member of the Detroit Federation Board of Governors. Lis is a current member of the American Jewish Committee Board of Governors and Co-President of MOPAC, a Democratic political action committee.
