An attorney, Isaac Blachor (New York, NY) has been an active member of the American, New York State, and Nassau County Bar Associations, and is a past President of the Jewish Lawyers Association of Nassau County.
He served as the Chair of the Committee on Professional Ethics of the Nassau County Bar Association and as a member of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Professional Ethics.
He is a past chair of the Long Island Cabinet for State of Israel Bonds and the founder of the Holocaust Memorial and Educational Center of Nassau County.
For more than 30 years he served as a director and officer of the Hebrew Academy of Nassau County, and was Chairman of its Board of Directors for 10 years.
Currently a Vice President of the Religious Zionists of America, Blachor has been active in JNF since serving as National JNF Vice President for the American Zionist Youth Council in the early 1960s.
He is a past President of JNF’s Long Island Board and served two terms as National Secretary.
