Century Club and Sapphire Society Member
Our dear friend, Lee Aronson, is a longtime member of Jewish National Fund’s Board of Directors, and is a committed Century Council and Circle of Sapphire Society member.
Together with her late husband, Norman, Lee was among the founding members of the New England Zone Board. Over the last 45 years, her dedication to JNF has been an inspiration not only to her family, but to the community at large.
Lee’s impact is about more than just her contributions; she is teaching the next generation to be involved. Her children and their spouses—Bunny, Steven & Risa and Nancy &
Jimmy—have all found their places within the JNF family. Bunny and Risa are both proud Sapphire Society members; Steven serves on the New England Board of Directors; and Nancy and Jimmy are big-hearted supporters.
“A family of wide ranging initiatives and limitless energy, the Aronsons have displayed leadership, earning them a reputation as outstanding individuals whose honesty, integrity and down-to-earth manner have endeared them to one and all. Lee Aronson, her children and grandchildren are a true testament of lay leadership. Their commitment and love for the land and people of Israel are a blessing to us all,” shared Sharon Freedman, National Campaign Director.
In July 2008, Lee Aronson and her family were honored at JNF’s annual charity golf tournament. The event raised over $100,000 toward restoring northern Israel and putting JNF's century of experience to work with Blueprint Negev.
Lee currently lives at NewBridge on the Charles in Dedham.
