Michael and his wife Pat are proud Negev Society and Century Council Members who travel to Israel frequently. Pat, together with Michael’s mom Dorothy, are also proud members of the Sapphire Society, JNF’s women’s major gift division.

Their oldest son Aaron made Aliyah in 2006 and as a lone soldier he completed his IDF tour of duty in 2008 in a Nahal combat unit. He has since returned to the US and remains active in the IDF reserves.

After graduating from George Washington University in 1972, Michael went into his family’s printing business which was sold in 2007.  He is a past president of both the Printing Industries of New England and of the Graphic Arts Credit Union.  Today, he works in real estate management, overseeing his family’s commercial properties in the Boston area. He is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, President of Evanteal Properties LLC and a Principal of Braintree Street Realty LLC. He is currently a Trustee for the Miller Convertible Fund and serves on the Board of Directors for various Boston area companies.

Sharon Freedman, National Campaign Director shared, “Michael is a relative newcomer to  the JNF family and already has made a huge impact.  He is an amazing president, a Makor member and of course our President’s Mission chair. We are honored to have his passion, his time and most of all his heart.”

Michael and Pat also support the Chabad of Merrimack Valley and the David Project. They live in Framingham, Massachusetts. Their two sons live in the Boston area, and their daughter is in Manhattan.
