Mike has always had a love of our homeland and its importance to Jews and Americans, often writing his views. He has traveled to Israel many times, as a leader of the Presidents Council Mission, with Makor, and on personal visits with his family.

As a member of Makor, Mike travels around the country speaking at events, sharing his passion for Israel and JNF’s many accomplishments.

Sharon Freedman, New England Zone Director, shares, “Mike fully understands the crucial work JNF does for the People and Land of Israel. His knowledge of our projects and appreciation of our partnerships is unparalleled. We are so very grateful for his dedication and leadership.”

Mike is Managing Partner for The Spectrum Capital Group. As an investment banker, entrepreneur, and investor, he is perhaps best known for the key role that he played in the acquisition of Allegheny International, conducting the first-ever unsolicited takeover of a billion-dollar company in Chapter 11. His business accomplishments have been reported in two books, a Harvard Business School case study, other case studies, several court cases, and numerous other publications.

Mike has lectured extensively at university graduate schools, bar and other professional associations, conferences, seminars and workshops.

Mike and his family are proud Century Club members and their generosity, dedication & commitment to Israel is a blessing to us all.
