Todd Patkin's ardor with Israel was planted by his grandfather, Maxwell Field. Todd recalls, "as my grandfather grew older, he felt Americans were turning their backs on Israel, and it disturbed him. So I began to look at Israel with new eyes."

In 2005, Todd and his wife, Yadira, became the first donors in New England to join the World Chairman's Council. Those funds supported the Gaza disengagement challenges and revitalization of Rothschild Boulevard, signifying the Patkin's passion for Israel and the Jewish people

One of his many generous acts was to match funds, dollar for dollar, raised on 2007's Green Sunday. His wife, Yadira, is a member of Circle of Sapphire, JNF's major gifts division for women.

Todd sits on JNF’s National Board and is a regular participant at our National Conference’s. Recently Todd has spent time speaking about happiness. He was named Readers Digest “Mr. Happy” in 2012.
