Ted Banks (Chicago, IL) is Counsel to the law firm of Schoeman Updike Kaufman & Scharf in Chicago, where his practice concentrates on general corporate and antitrust matters.
He is President of Compliance & Competition Consultants, LLC, and formerly served as Chief Counsel & Senior Director, Global Compliance Policy, at Kraft Foods in Northfield, Illinois.
He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University (Chicago) School of Law.
A longtime JNF supporter, Banks was the Chicago region’s Campaign Chair and held the position of President for four years.
He has been a board member of the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago and is a member of North Suburban Synagogue Beth El in Highland Park, where he previously served on the board and as President of the Men’s Club.
Banks is also on the board of Keep Chicago Beautiful, the local affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.
