Dr. Toby Mower

Toby Mower (Avon & Denver, CO) worked in the healthcare field as a nurse for 25 years until receiving her M.S. in clinical psychology. She was a founder and board member of Jewish Recovery Houses in Baltimore and is a past member of the Certified Alcoholism Counselors of Maryland and the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Toby sits on the board of governors of Ben Gurion University of the Negev, where she received an honorary doctorate and where she started the first-ever training of addiction counselors in Israel. Toby is a past board member of the Baltimore chapter of The American Technion Society. She is a past executive board member of the Associated Federation of Baltimore, a past Vice President of the Baltimore Chapter of Hadassah, and is also a life member of Hadassah. She is a member of the JNF National Water Task Force, a member of the Mountain States Board, a charter member of The Sapphire Society, a Negev Society and World Chairman’s Council member, and a funder of the JNFuture Leadership Institute Mission (JLIM). She is a board member and a consultant on the Starting Hearts Board in Vail, CO.
