Jewish National Fund-USA's
Alternative Break

May 26 - June 2, 2024

JNF-USA has been running Alternative Break trips to Israel for over 18 years! We have brought 3,000 college students and young adults ages 18-24 to get their hands dirty while making a difference for the land and people of Israel!

Overview of the Trip:

Each day of the trip is comprised of volunteering, touring, education, and independent time in the evenings and on Shabbat.
Included with acceptance on the trip: round-trip flight to Israel, accommodations, most meals, and medical insurance.

Volunteering Highlights:

  • Spend time with evacuees and the people who are providing lifesaving efforts to support them.
  • Take part in community service helping with anything needed, from cooking to assistance in the daycares, laundry, or cleaning up.
  • Work together with HaShomer HaChadash in farms, picking vegetables and other crops that will ensure that we will help prevent a massive shortage in the Israeli market and that no farmer is left alone.
  • Volunteer with Sar-El at an army base, take on logistical roles necessary to fill the void of the over 350,000 Israelis serving in the IDF and reserves.

Due to high demand, Alternative Break is now
an application based trip.
