Plant Your Way to Israel™ allows students to take an active role in paying for their trip, while building Israel through JNF forestry projects. The program is simple. Students, through age 18, ask friends and family to plant trees with JNF (minimum donation $36). Half of this money will go to JNF to plant trees in Israel, and the other half will be placed in a special account for the student, held by JNF, to be used for any trip to Israel. A special certificate is sent to a designee on behalf of the donor. Learn more and register at www.jnf.org/pyw.

Start a JNF Green Team group – it can be part of a regular school or synagogue club, or within a youth group or summer camp. Students participate in environmental projects both locally and in Israel, communicate with students in Israel, teach about critical environmental issues, grow and eat organic food – and more. JNF Green Team members choose activities they enjoy and make a difference in the world. Members receive the JNF Green Team eNewsletter, the JNF Green Times, featuring articles written by environmental experts and student reporters. Visit www.jnf.org/greentimes to learn more or contact Nina at NWoldin@jnf.org.

The Alexander Muss High School in Israel is an outstanding eight-week program for high school students. Scheduled during the school year, the core program is located at its campus in Hod Hasharon, continues the students’ academic work from public or private school and adds a powerfulcourse of learning about Israel including trips and special seminars. The Muss Institute also offers uniquely designed extended study programs in Israel for Jewish day schools.  Visit www.amhsi.org for more information.
